A Parental S.U.C.C.E.S.S

Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of The Lord is. And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to The Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God. Ephesians 5:17-21

S: spend time with family, spend time with your spouse, and spend time with your church family.
U: use scripture to help answer questions and solve problems, it is our instructional manual for life.
C: be committed to your relationship with God, your spouse, and your children.
C: communicate with your spouse, children, and to God.
E: encourage your children, speak words of encouragement.
S: set the example. Whatever standard you want your children and spouse to live by, you must set that standard.
S: Savior. Impossible to love your family until you love God.

When mercy is given, even if it is not deserved, is wonderful. Extend mercy to everyone.

Let your kids see Jesus in you.

Children, obey your parents in The Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise: that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth. Any you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of The Lord. Ephesians 6:1-4

Your word have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Psalm 119:11

Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105

As for God, His way is perfect; the word of The Lord is proven. He is a shield to all who trust on Him. Psalm 18:30

He sent his word and healed them, and delivered the from their destructions. Psalm 170:20

Most men will proclaim each his own goodness. But who can find a faithful man. Proverbs 20:6

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
